Learn how to set up your account and get started with PropFlow
Click on "Get Started" or "Free Trial" on our homepage. Fill in your details including name, email, phone number, and create a password. You'll receive a verification email to confirm your account.
After logging in, go to Properties in the sidebar and click "Add Property". Enter the property name, address, type (apartment, house, commercial), and add units with their respective rent amounts.
Navigate to Tenants in the sidebar and click "Add Tenant". Enter their contact information, assign them to a unit, set the lease dates, and configure their rent schedule.
PropFlow offers a 2-month free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required to start. After the trial, you can choose a plan that fits your needs.
Manage rent collection and payment processing
PropFlow integrates with M-Pesa for seamless rent collection. Connect your M-Pesa business account in Settings > Payment Integration. Tenants can pay via Paybill or Buy Goods, and payments are automatically recorded.
Go to Communications and set up automated rent reminders. You can send SMS, email, or WhatsApp notifications before and after rent is due. Configure reminder schedules in Settings.
The Dashboard shows overdue payments at a glance. Go to Collect Rent for detailed overdue payment information. You can filter by property, tenant, or date range.
Yes! Receipts are automatically generated when payments are recorded. Tenants receive receipts via email or SMS. You can also download or resend receipts from the payment history.
Manage properties, units, and maintenance
When creating or editing a property, you can add multiple units. Each unit can have its own name, type, rent amount, and status. Click "Add Unit" to add more units to the property.
Tenants can submit maintenance requests through their portal. You'll receive notifications and can assign requests to maintainers. Track progress and communicate updates all within PropFlow.
Yes! Go to Documents to upload and manage property-related files like agreements, inspection reports, and certificates. Documents can be shared with tenants or kept private.
Go to Listings and click "Create Listing". Add photos, description, amenities, and pricing. Your listing will appear on the public listings page for potential tenants to view.
Manage your account settings and preferences
Go to Profile/Settings and click on "Change Password" or "Security". Enter your current password and your new password. You'll receive a confirmation email once updated.
Navigate to Settings > Security and enable Two-Factor Authentication. You can use SMS or an authenticator app. This adds an extra layer of security to your account.
Go to Subscription in your dashboard. Compare available plans and click "Upgrade" on your preferred plan. Payment is processed securely via M-Pesa.
Yes! Go to Staff > Users to add team members. Assign roles and permissions to control what each staff member can access and manage.
